Sports & Athletics

At Gan Israel, campers participate in various sports activities, receive expert coaching and enjoy a wide array of recreational activities. Our sports coaches are professional physical education instructors who teach with patience, guidance and encouragement. New this summer will be unique skill-building instructions in soccer and basketball. Individual and group training will allow each camper to end the summer a better athlete. Our focus on good sportsmanship and self confidence makes everyone a winner!

Swimming Instructions
 
Certain sessions there are swimming training and technique improvement which are under the guidance of Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. When that is offered each camper will be tested at the onset of the summer and placed in training groups for personal and group instruction. Our goal is to utilize the swimming time at camp to improve the campers’ swimming skills and motivate them for greater aquatic ability. Rest assured that safety is priority #1.
