Fun-Shop Choices - 2009

At Camp Gan Israel, in our efforts to focus on the individual needs of each child, and help develop their confidence and self esteem, we give our campers a variety of specialty activities, which we like to call "Fun-shops". This year we've added some new exciting choices and eliminated the unpopular ones. Please prioritize your top two picks by numbering them with a 1 and 2.

Campers will enjoy their fun-shops three times a week, for one hour each time.

Electives

Once a week, campers in the Older Division have the option of going on a full day trip.

Weekly

Archery

An archery instructor will be visiting our camp every Monday and Thursday. Campers entering 3rd grade and up will have fun as they learn the techniques of shooting a bow and arrow.

To participate in this activity, you must be wearing closed toe shoes and no loose clothing.

Summer 09: Weeks 1, 2, and 4.

Week One - Adrenalina Flow Rider

Week Two - Ropes Course

The activities focus on leadership, trust, communication, problem solving, teamwork, cooperation, decision making, motivation and conflict resolution. These activities compel the group to work together to overcome the challenge.

This course focuses on the individual’s emotional and physical insecurities, helps them set and complete personal goals and fosters perseverance, risk taking, and motivation.

A minimun of 10 kids is needed

Week Three - Rebounderz Planet Jump

Arena style Jumping Court with rebounding floors and angled rebounding side walls. Rebounderz' Jumper Court is over 6,700 square feet of rebounding surface. We actually encourage bouncing off the walls at Rebounderz!

Week Four - OWC Wakeboarding

Spend the day at the Orlando Watersports Complex for as much wakeboarding as you can handle!

Date: Monday, July 20
Fee: $20/Camper
